DX-200A ADSL PARAMETRIC TESTER

ADSL Modem and Central Office equipment represent a combination of analogue and digital technology working at the extremes of circuit design. The combination of high output power, wide bandwidth and very sensitive receivers interfacing to fast, high-resolution ADC’s and DAC’s means that the physical hardware performance must be superb.

To achieve this necessary signal performance requires, amongst other things, extensive decoupling and layout care, multi-layer PCB’s, sophisticated analogue filtering and low distortion components. Any imperfections due to component or manufacturing defect are likely to result in substantially degraded product operation. The DX-200A from Electron Parametrics provides a range of tests, suitable for checking the fundamental hardware performance of ADSL equipment in Design, QA or manufacturing environments.
