GENERAL
Electron Parametrics, based in Bradford on Avon, acquired the assets of EPL Ltd
in June 2001 to build on the company's 20 years' experience in telecom testing. It has built an
international reputation through the experience of the staff and the quality of the work
undertaken. The company’s mainstream activity is the provision of automated test
systems for telecommunications equipment manufacture.
The company designs and manufactures production, QA test equipment for the telecommunications
industry world-wide. The company designs and manufactures a range of products which,
allied to these skills, assist QA and test engineers in building the high-speed test
infrastructure required by today's telecomm manufacturing operation, where quality is a
key component.
The company has a considerable understanding of international telecommunications networks
and a detailed knowledge of the connection arrangements and regulatory standards that are
mandatory in the many national markets. The name has become a de-facto standard for
international line condition simulation and testing in the modem and fax industry,
supplying its equipment to most of the major manufacturers in these segments.

INTERNATIONAL PTT TESTING (especially BABT)
Our test equipment is used to test products to many national standards around the world.
Not only are the pass/fail limits and masks programmable, but also, the appropriate feed
conditions can be automatically selected to the various voltages, currents, resistances,
dial-tones and ring-signals of exchanges around the world.
In particular, the equipment is recognised by BABT in the UK as meeting its test
requirements listed in Doc 340.
