EPL3000i ADDENDUM V2.12
The EP3000i contains 5 parameter tables which permit the unit to be set up to simulate different International exchanges.
On power up the EP3000i is set to simulate a UK telephone exchange with the default values defined in the previous chapters. When selecting another test parameter table please note the following two points:-
Only the Master socket will emulate an international exchange. The slave socket is always configured as UK.
The EP3000i is always calibrated with the UK test parameter table and so amplitudes of Supervisory and Dial tones have a tolerance of +2dBm when using other parameter tables.
CONTENTS OF TEST PARAMETER TABLE
Within the EP3000i there are 5 test parameter tables. Test parameter table 1, the default, simulates the UK, while test parameter table 2 simulates the US. The 3 following test parameter tables are used to simulate European options.
